HUNHAN — Analysis

I compiled a list of solid examples and explanations to the question why (I think) HunHan is a true story of a genuine and heartfelt friendship that is not just living off SM and fanservice, seeking popularity.

▷1. Foreword 

I’m not making this post for the mere reason that it has been highly requested but also I find it to be a good time since many hearts of the HunHan shippers out there have been broken lately. And also, some of you can stop telling me that HunHan is 

But to be honest, I’ve always wanted to give some rational reasons why I adore HunHan so much (apart from all my flimsy „hunhan is perfect i just-“ statements).

It took me quite a while to gather all the necessary facts and gifs for this post and I want to apologize beforehand for the sloppy crediting. I really tried to credit the best I can and if you see your gif/image in my post and want me to credit/delete it, just message me :)

[ Moments, that are too played up, probably ‘scripted’ by SM and too exaggerated for my taste are excluded from this post (e.g. Sehun’s message to Luhan on the SINA Live Chat, couple outfits, HunHan accompanying each other to BoA’s ‘Only One’ performance etc.)]

!!! Also finally, before I start, I want to have said everything that you’re going to read consists of my very own opinion, speculation and might sound somewhat exaggerated to you (actually, I’m doing that to relieve the seriousness a bit ..u know). Long story short, nothing said here is fact !!! 

And since I’m not HunHan themselves nor some kind of human lie detector everything I’m putting here is based on their body language and my logic.

Anyway, now that I have this sorted out, let’s get started!

▷2. HunHan The Magnets

 Because neither of them can really be without the other.

(NUMBER 1) 

What’s going on??

• EXO gets on stage in a line
• Uhh..Sehun suddenly stops walking and Jongin gets all confused
• Jongin realizes that Sehun wasn’t waiting for him but for Luhan
• Sehun puts his hand on Luhan’s shoulder and they walk up together

Conclusion:

To that time, EXO-K and EXO-M barely interacted with each other so Sehun would just try and make the best out of the moments they were given. (Yes, this includes being close to Luhan at all time.)

Sehun basically just wanted to save the place next to Luhan on the stage. Also, I’m wheezing.

(NUMBER 2)

What’s going on??

• Luhan notices that something’s missing next to him
• He keeps looking back and makes everything cringe-worthy obvious
• He tries to walk slower but Sehun is still not next to him. hmm.
• Eventually, Luhan goes back and vòila, there we have HunHan♥♥♥

(NUMBER 3)

What’s going on??

• The exact same thing as above, just vice versa

What’s going on??

• Again, the exact same thing as above, just vice versa

(NUMBER 4) 

What’s going on??

• Luhan slowly but surely gravitates towards his babyboy

What’s going on??

• KaiBaekHun are having a good time grinding on each other (I’m not even lying)
• Luhan strolls along, sees the KaiBaekHun party and slowly makes his way over to them
• Just when he thought things couldn’t get any worse, they do. He gets cockblocked by Taozi
• After making his way through the throng, the green-eared Mickey Mouse waits to get noticed by his boo
• Nothing happens
• Luhan keeps throwing longing glances at Sehun
• Nothing happens..
• Eventually, Luhan loses his patience and he hits Sehun with the little flag
• Sehun pulls Luhan forward and everyone is happy

Conclusion:

Can we just take a closer look at the 1^st gif where Luhan suddenly does not understand what’s going on, oh my god. Luhan just sees how Sehun gets pulled into a hug and…. just looks away in disbelief.

(NUMBER 5)

What’s going on??

• TaoHun are about to leave (for a pee or whatever)
• But no waIT!!1 Sehun notices that someone is missing. It’s his Luhan.
• Sehun turns around to call him but Luhan is too busy having a smalltalk with the other hyungs
• Sehun waits
• Sehun tries again, this time he calls him by ‘Hyung’ …
• ..but Luhan can’t seem to hear him over his own laugh

Conclusion:

Sehun wants Luhan’s attention. Sehun wants Luhan. Sehun the clingy boy wants Luhan’s attention but he can’t get it for the moment. Also, you can’t disagree with me on the point that Sehun kinda looks like a whiny girlfriend that is desperately calling for her hubby. Sighs oh man why is he so cute, just look at his face :-)

(NUMBER 6)

What’s going on??

• Sehun can’t decide on whether he should get into the M or the K van #thestruggle
• Out of nowhere, Luhan sneaks up from behind and taps Sehun on the waist
• Sehun waves at him as a goodbye (Also, they touch hands!!!!)
• Eventually, manager-nim directs Luhan to go back to the M vans
• sighs
• Hunhan is separated

(NUMBER 7)

What’s going on??

• Luhan stares across the MCs at Sehun in a way girls stare at their crushes 
• (+there’s a super slight eager smile on his face)
• He’s probably waiting for Sehun to notice(??)
• Sehun notices it and wapOW! their eyes meet

Conclusion: Luhan likes to to observe/look at Sehun. It’s cute how he doesn’t even care to look away when Sehun catches him staring at him. (Such a tease, wow).

The truth is, Hunhan always find eye contact even if there’s no reason for it.

(NUMBER 8)

What’s going on??

• Luhan has to depart 
• Sehun waves at Luhan (but only Luhan) and cutely says ‘Byee~’ several times
• There’s a slight smile growing on Luhan’s face
• Sehun walks into a fan and apologizes

Conclusion:

Once again, HunHan remind me of a very cute boyfriend-girlfriend relationship and uH things like this are just great I want to cry :’~)

(NUMBER 9) Sneaky Luhan

What’s going on??

• KaiXingHun ((breathes heavily))) are supposed to show a bit of their Wolf Choreo
• Oh wow, now look what’s happening in the back row..
• Yes, it’s Luhan doing the Wolf ears and if I’m not wrong, he’s doing it with a bright smile on his face, looking at Sehun
• Sehun notices Luhan and can’t help but lick his lips and smile back at Luhan
• Good things.

Conclusion:

Luhan either just wants Sehun’s attention for that moment or he wants to encourage him to dance . Either way, it’s frickin’ HunHan.

▷ 3. Jealousy And Possessivness

Sharing can be fun but certainly it can also be challenging and sometimes it’s just really hard to do and to accept.

Here we go eheuhue….

(NUMBER 1)

What’s going on??

• Leeteuk, as today’s host, asks Suho if there was any member he wanted to become friends with because of their looks and Suho, like the honest leader he is, confesses that he had a crush on Luhan
• Luhan shyly responds with a tender ‘Saranghamnida~♥“
• …And then, to the far left, we have Oh Sehun having an emotional breakdown, trying hard to swallow the words that came at him like fists
• Can we also talk about how tensed the poor boy actually is and the way he shakes his right leg in annoyance makes everything even better

Conclusion:

I guess the pain in Sehun’s face pretty much explains it all. It’s the official beginning of EXO’s journey and Suho already builds a ship with Luhan, letting Sehun’s world crumble in front of him. I guess Sehun didn’t expect that to happen so it hit him like a soft brick. (im still laughign)

Oh man, can we please get a close-up of the crestfallen Sehun because it’s just really precious aahh yes good there it is

(NUMBER 2) 

What’s going on??

• During the Wlive photoshoot, KaiLu accidentally turn their heads to the same direction and awkwardly face each other
• They exchange smiles
• Sehun happens to witness the moment and tries to hard unsee but it’s too late

Conclusion: Sehun is not happy.

(NUMBER 3)

What’s going on??

• With Sehun’s left arm around Luhan’s shoulder, HunHan is having a great time waving at the audience, deciding to show the world what a wonderful couple they actually are
• Our good friend Kim Jongdae sees Luhan’s free hand waving around in the air and grabs it without realizing what kind of trouble he’s actually causing
• Sehun looks up to notice that apparently it is NOT his but Jongdae’s hand that is tightly grabbing onto Luhan’s wrist
• Of course, this displeases Oh Sehun- who is not going to put up with that shit.
• Completely unnecessary, he subtly turns himself and Luhan 180° degrees around to become a wall between his baby and Jongdae
• Sehun saved Hunhan and Jongdae, still not realizing what actually happened, keeps on singing and being a carefree lad

Conclusion:

Sehun’s reaction was completely natural and involuntary. You can tell by the look in his face that it just somehow bothered him to see someone else touching his Luhan (amidst a glorious HunHan moment). He wasn’t being seriously mad at Jongdae for his actions, not at all. He just wanted to have Luhan all for himself.

(NUMBER 4)If you don’t remember this one then I don’t know.

What’s going on??

• After Luhan’s talk he calls Minseok to complete the heart with him and he does
• Sehun who stands right next to them can’t do anything but helplessly watch them being cute together
• He just smiles and claps his hands but we all know Sehun isn’t too thrilled about XiuHan doing their thing
• Sehun, however, is not going to stand for being neglected by Luhan so he pulls him closer and invites him to do another heart sign
• Not that a heart sign would be enough, nope, Sehun also asks for their signature peace signs
• When EXO is supposed to walk off the stage, Sehun clings to Luhan like he was made of icing sugar

Conclusion:

Sehun doesn’t actively show that he’s being jealous but let’s be honest, it’s beyond obvious. The fact that Sehun challenges a HunHan heart + peace signs shows that Sehun just can’t really deal with Luhan’s attention being focused on someone that’s not him.

(wheezes)

(NUMBER 5)

What’s going on??

•  (Throughout the whole video) KaiLu are being extremely playful and keep doing weird things together 
• Meanwhile Sehun is just staring at the whole event and we can tell that his world is falling apart
• ok, maybe it’s not that bad but the why-are-they-doing-this-sighs-um-okay on Sehun’s face, plus, the painfully forced smile that hides a large measure of pain prove that Sehun is not happy

What’s going on??

• 1^st  panel: Sehun’s eyes are all on Luhan
• 2^nd  panel: Some KaiLu interaction is happening and the smile on Sehun’s face just melts off like candle wax

What’s happening?

• Kyungsoo is being a cutie and gives Luhan a massage

• As you can tell, Kyungsoo is doing a good job and Luhan enjoys it (too much)

• In the background we can see Oh Sehun passing by and- man oh man, he does not look happy

• The poor boy just can’t seem to unsee those sad moments

• Everyone keeps focussing on the show
• …except for Oh Sehun

Conclusion:

It’s an impulse. Whenever Luhan gives his attention to other members (from whispering and talking to getting physically involved with them) Sehun’s eyes would automatically draw to Luhan, watching his every move and action.

(NUMBER 6)

What’s going on??

• Luhan whispers something into (I can’t tell who that is)’s ears
• Sehun turns around to find Luhan with someone else

Conclusion:

Sometimes I believe that Sehun has a small radar installed in his head. Whenever Luhan is being with other people he would just notice it, whether it’s happening in front of his eyes or behind his back. Sehun knows.

But even if Luhan isn’t being with anyone…

(NUMBER 7)  

This one here has nothing to do with jealousy but it’s still really precious so here we go

What’s going on??

• EXO-M just won an award and all the K members rush over to congratulate them
• You can tell Sehun is focussing on Luhan, slowly navigating his way to him
• Sehun tries his best to get through so he can greet Luhan but he’s just too far away
• Luhan is still out of reach

[Interesting  Fact]

If you watch the video of EXO on Sukira you will find countless moments of Sehun throwing quick glances at Luhan every now and then :-) 

▷ 4. Awkward Situations/ Secondhand Embarrassment

Watching Hunhan interacting can melt your heart off your chest just as much it can give you the worst secondhand embarrassment.

Anyway, let’s go straight back to the beginning and start with the showcase, yes.

(NUMBER 1) 

What’s happening??

• Luhan is asked to talk about Sehun and the crowd goes OOOOOhhhh
• Okay so apparently not only the crowd goes wild but also Sehun’s hormones
• Sehun looks super flustered while Luhan tries to find the right words and keeps patting his heart chest
• ◕ ‿ ◕

Conclusion:

HunHan knows about HunHan. Also, the MC knows about Hunhan and he acts like that scary friend who would set up his other two shy friends and you just want to punch yourself in the face because he’s making it dreadfully awkward for both Sehun and Luhan as well as for the audience but at the same time it’s precious to the power of infinity.

(NUMBER 2) 

What’s going on??

• Luhan is talking
• ..and Sehun, oh dear god, just stares at him
• I want to call it the please-never-stop-talking-sighs-luhan-how-do-you-even-existstare
• and then Sehun decides to make everything even more painful by letting a content smile play across his face
• Luhan, who notices Sehun’s dreamy stare, gets distracted and nervous
• Sehun quickly unlocks his heart eyes from Luhan’s face

Conclusion:

Just Sehun being smitten by Luhan’s existence. Just Sehun practicing his favorite hobby which is staring at his baby’s pretty face.

Just Luhan getting slightly tense and nervous by Sehun’s intense stare.

(NUMBER 3) 

What’s happening??

• Sehun awkwardly walks and leans towards Luhan
• Now watch the 50% cheeky and 50% awkward smile slowly growing on Luhan’s face :-)

Conclusion:

It’s almost like Sehun actually wanted to get even even closer to Luhan (perhaps, to rest his chin on his shoulder?we just don’t know~) but he notices how Luhan is freezing up on the inside and, eventually, stops himself from doing so in the very last moment. Man oh man..

Anyway, let’s get a close-up of Luhan’s expression because why the hell not

ahh yes good..

And now let’s head over to one of my favorite HunHan moments :-)

(NUMBER 4)

What’s going on??

• 1^st  gif: Luhan starts talking in Korean
• Sehun can’t help himself from smiling and then tries to surpress it (by pinching his cute nose, awn)
  
  
• 2^nd  gif: Luhan stutters and trips all over his Korean words and Sehun tries to encourage him by giving him that… yes-baby-youre-doing-fine-keep-going stare with a big fat smile on his face, nodding in amusement
• Luhan, however, just completely blanks out (Sehun, it’s all your fault.)
  
  
• 3^rd  gif: (((The whole audience screams and cheers because HunHan is happening))
• Sehun, thereupon, quickly turns away from Luhan  
• JUST LOOK AT HOW CUTE AND EMBARRASSED SEHUN LOOKS I’M-
• He just… looks down at the ground and wishes to be swallowed up  
• And then there’s Luhan who sees Sehun being all embarrassed by the whole situation and purses his lips, probably feeling uncomfortable too
  
  
• 4^th  gif: Luhan is totally done with his Korean, laughs it off and touches Sehun’s shoulder as an involuntary reaction of being mildly embarrassed
• Sehun suddenly finds Luhan’s hand on his left shoulder and grows stiff  
• Luhan realizes what he’s actually doing and immediately pulls his hand back

Conclusion:

HunHan is literally doing the best and most precious fanservice without even realizing it; but the moment they do, both turn into really cute and awkward teenage ducklings and I just want to melt into the floor and disappear :-)

Let’s see it again

(NUMBER 5) 

What’s going on??

• Sehun is resting his chin on Luhan’s shoulder
• Then all of a sudden, Luhan turns his head to say something and gets dangerously close to Sehun’s face
• Sehun quickly makes a move which makes it safe for the both of them

• Just another example of HunHan getting too close ahh yes

Now let’s go back to HunHan in Thailand again because this has to be one of my favorite moments too :-)

(NUMBER 4)

What’s going on??

• A part of EXO is performing ‘Two Moons’ and the rest of them just (try to) dance and sing along
• Luhan decides to make a mo ve on Sehun and ((for the first time in the whole video)) Sehun smiles
• It’s not even a normal smile, nope haha, let’s say it’s a ohh-boy-well-um-hello-theresmile
• Luhan doesn’t go home, he goes hard  
• I’m not entirely sure what he’s doing but from what I see let’s say Luhan is working his butt down on Sehun(??yeah)
• As a response to Luhan’s bold actions, Sehun…..just escapes over to Baekhyhun and does that really awkward and random dance??
• Luhan just laughs

Conclusion:

Sweet lord, Luhan is teasing Sehun to the point where he really doesn’t know how to handle it anymore.

But no really, can we just-

(NUMBER 5)

What’s happening??

• Once again, they’re performing ‘Two Moons’ and once again, the ones that are not involved in the performance have to kill the time by practicing some freestyle
• I’m not sure who initiates it but that doesn’t matter anyway
• Fact is, for the sake of everything, both Sehun and Luhan end up dancing with each other (in a really awkward manner)
• None of them look particularly aware of what they’re actually doing 
• Sehun gets way too close and Luhan just pushes him away from him
• They’re oozing so much awkwardness it actually hurts

Conclusion:

Sighs, they’re probably trying to ease up the tension a bit but eventually things couldn’t get any more awkward tbh. But yeah, regardless of all the secondhand embarrassment we all can’t unsee the cuteness behind their couple dance, can we :^)

(NUMBER 6)

What’s going on??

• EXO arrive at their hotel
• Luhan waits for Sehun to put down the bag so they can walk together, what else is new?
• Once Sehun put down the bag, he quickly rushes back to Luhan and, yes, Sehun even reaches out his arm to him as a sign of ‘yeah, you go with me’
• Oops, so many fangirls with so many cameras, who would have expected that?
• Luhan just randomly brushes the fringe off his face and smiles awkwardly
• At this point, I’d like to stress out that his smile is more of a ‘Well,…we’re trapped…“ smile
• ..and Sehun, completely unnecessary, tugs his shirt loose (to play it off)

(NUMBER 7) AKA THE NECK KISS

 What’s going on??

• Luhan leans in very, very, I repeat, ((very)) close to the back of Sehun’s neck
• I have no idea what Luhan is trying to do but he’s definitely not trying to whisper something into Sehun’s ear, nor is he doing- whatever he’s doing- ‘accidentally’
• Sehun freezes the moment he feels Luhan’s hot breath/lips against his neck
• ((b..r..e..a..t..h..e..s…….. h..e…a..v..i…l..y….))

Let’s see it ..a….g…a…i..n….

6. Luhan the protector/leader

(NUMBER 1)

What’s going on??

• As for the end of the Concert all the SM aritsts bow to the audience
• Everyone of them basically looks down to the ground except for Oh Sehun whose eyes slowly wander to his left, to Luhan
• Sehun keeps looking at Luhan  
• Not until Yixing lets go of his hand, Sehun notices that they were supposed to get back up

Conclusion:

It can be taken one of two ways: 

1) Sehun is captured by the beauty of Luhan and can’t help but gaze at his pretty Chinese neighbour in adoration and worship.

2) Sehun only pays attention to Luhan’s actions and no one else. He is basically waiting for Luhan’s directions, which means, when Luhan gets up, he will do too. 

Either way, it’s cute.

(NUMBER 2)

What’s going on??

• EXO walks on stage
• Luhan calls Sehun and with great regret he tells him to go back because apparently Sehun, probably unconsciously, walked past the spot he is supposed to stand on
• Sehun, not too happy about it, walks back to his spot

Conclusion:

Obviously, it’s Sehun’s habit to follow Luhan at all time. We can infer that Sehun just feels safe and comfortable with Luhan around and he can only leave him with a heavy heart.

(NUMBER 3) 

What’s going on??

• Basically, Luhan tries to protect Sehun from any harm and keeps him sheltered from all the madness that is going on at the airport because we all know that this place can turn into a nightmare

Conclusion: 

Luhan, like one of the most caring person he is, feels obligated to get the youngest member through the airport without any scratches and bruises. At this point, I would like to quote Luhan’s words from the Showcase in Beijing: 

“Ah, Sehun, when I first saw him, he gave me the same feeling like when I first saw Yixing. He’s quiet and child-like but after knowing him better, he’s actually quite playful. He’s a cute little brother and makes me have the urge to take care of him.”

Can we also talk about how lost the little peanut would be without Luhan leading him the right way:

Conclusion:

I remember Sehun’s response on the question about his ideal type (from the CECI Interview):

 „Someone who will rush over to help me apply medicine and is genuinely worried for me when I’m injured.“

The great thing about that is…I almost want to say he was describing Luhan because the description of Sehun’s ideal type blends really well with Luhan’s personality.  

In my opinion, Luhan is that person Sehun really looks up to and also feels safe and comfortable with.

I know a lot of people think of Sehun a stone-faced, cold-hearted little brat that doesn’t give two fucks about the world. However, they can’t be any more wrong.

Here’s another quote from the Ceci interview; this time it’s Sehun sharing his very own user manual:

„If I’m very happy I am not able to control myself. So I’d be very thankful if you understand when I am very noisy. I will quieten down in no time. Because I’m O-bloodtype, I get hurt when I receive criticisms from many people all at once. Please guide me a lot in the future.“

Oh Sehun, the youngest member, is actually nothing but a sensitive, emotional and affectionate child. I think we all know, no later upon seeing Sehun crying during the Sukira radio show, that things get really, really easily to him. He needs a strong, responsible and committed person leader-figure that encourages and builds him up, ( Luhan ).

6.1 Luhan The Wonderboy

Luhan the pretty boy that resembles a porcelain doll, Luhan the polite and caring man, Luhan the excellent singer, Luhan the amazing dancer, Luhan the the all-around talent that solves a rubiks cube in no time.

Let’s hone in on a small yet super cute aspect of HunHan in which Luhan is the person Sehun really looks up to:

(NUMBER 1) 

What’s going on??

• Basically, Sehun is praising Luhan for his kindness, good looks and talent
• Everyone claps and Luhan is flattered hehuehe

Conclusion:

So.. I don’t know in how far this is ‘scripted’ by SM but even if SM made him saying those lines, I nevertheless dare to say that Sehun’s words really do reconcile with the truth.

[Interesting Fun Fact]

It’s said that Sehun can’t lie. Also, I’m pretty sure his emotions are always 100% sincere. When things entertain him, he laughs, is loud and gets super hyper. When things bore him, he shows it. I guess Sehun is just someone who doesn’t smile or laugh for no reason. 

 

(NUMBER 2) 

 

What’s going on??

• Sehun watches his baby doing the hurdle race
• Luhan apparently does really good and Sehun is..just really, really happy and excited :’-))
• Just look at him clapping his hands like a child, I’m-
  
  

(NUMBER 3) 

What’s going on??

• The results are displayed and Luhan got 2nd 
• Sehun is just so so happy and proud????
• (Yes, Sehun’s reaction is actually sob worthy)
• He just claps his hands, then runs over to Luhan and lifts him up with a big fat smile on his face 

Conclusion:

I don’t even what there is left to say. Sehun is just being uber proud and happy. Also, I’d like to say that his reaction is all natural and completely involuntary. There’s so much happiness inside Sehun and he just… bursts. That’s it. Sighs, these moments are just there to remind me of everything beautiful in the world.

(NUMBER 4) 

What’s going on??

• Okay so everyone is literally fighting to get in the camera frame and then there is Sehun…just focussing on Luhan.
• He just stares across the hall…at Luhan.
• And the way he looks at him, no, don’t…. even…. get…. me ……started :-)

• Baekhyun spanks Sehun
• Sehun seeks protection in Luhan
• Luhan wraps his arm around Sehun

What’s happening??

• It really looks like Sehun is about to bury his head in Luhan’s neck but retreats in the last second (w…h..Y….)
• Can we also talk about their manual interactions, oh my god
• Sehun is eager to grab Luhan’s hands but eventually just curls them up instead
• Luhan is unsure whether to grab Sehun’s hands or not
• In the end, both just awkwardly turn away from each other 
• Sehun claps  off the awkwardness ahh yes nice try

Conclusion:

It’s too obvious that HunHan have the desire to have physical contact with each other…but then both realize they’re in public and restrain themselves (probably because they don’t want to make -> "Awkward Situations/ Secondhand Embarrassment (Number 4)" happen again and die in embarrassment for a second time).

And yes, it hurts my heart to the fullest.

(NUMBER 6)

You can see how Sehun cutely cringes in discomfort and embarrassment when he’s done with his introduction. Thereupon, he turns over to Luhan who proudly smiles, claps and nods in approval. 

Let’s reflect this on the fact that Sehun has always been very shy when it comes to talking. I would say that Sehun truly finds comfort and a sense of stability in the presence of Luhan who would always tell him he’s doing fine and encourage him in his actions.

8. Conclusion

So here you have it, a list of HunHan’s most wonderful moments.

There are still many people that say and believe HunHan is scripted, only existing because they’re promoted by SM but I have to disagree. Of course SM promotes HunHan, but they can only do that to an extent they can manage (letting them wear couple outfits or doing something like this & this or just some other very weird and exaggerated things).

To me, most of the moments they shared do not seem like a show that is put only up for the cameras/fans but much more than that I feel like HunHan were just exchanging genuine and sincerely sweet moments. 

Also I would like to friendly remind you of the fact that there is a age gap of 4 years between Sehun and Luhan. I think this is an extremely important fact to consider. 

Tao and Jongin are both, more or less, the same age as Sehun. On that account, Sehun gets along really, really well with them. They’re the perfect buddies for Sehun to hang out and to play with. (The same goes for XiuHan.) 

The great thing about HunHan, in my opinion, is that they’re both really good friends but also you can see the adoration in Luhan’s eyes and actions when he takes care of the Sehun. And Sehun….he just really looks up to Luhan, appreciating his kindness and affection, as well as admiring his multi talents.

I don’t know in how far the fact is true, but “Luhan said he likes it when Sehun clings onto him. He thinks that it’s really cute.”

I do not ship them as legit couple. I know in some parts I might have made it sound like it  but I was exaggerating to make a point. 

They might be straight, they might be bi, they might be pan- we just don’t know and we will never know until they tell us. The truth is, I don’t want to dive any further into the talk about their Sexual Orientation so I’m just going to assume they’re both straight and platonic friends.

< But why would they get ‘jealous’ when either of them gets physically involved with someone else? >

HunHan both are really close in the first place, there’s no doubt about it.

And ‘normal’ friends, as you may already know, can get jealous too. It’s quite easy for a friend to feel neglected; and as an (impulsive) reaction to not getting enough attention, they just do funny things.

 But another aspect we have to put into account in understanding their jealous behavior and cute possessiveness is that both Sehun and Luhan are fully aware of the ‘HunHan’. SM, the fans, their fellow members and even they themselves make the case for ‘HunHan’. They joined the whole game because they probably think it’s a fun thing to do (giving us little heart attacks). Also, it makes it less awkward for them to respond on the whole ‘HunHan’ thing in a corny and fruity way rather than just to ignore and abort it.

The funny thing is, each of HunHan know how popular they are, how much potential their ship has. If they wanted to they could make your intestines tie themselves into pretty little bows and hearts.

I’m not trying say they hate seeing each other interacting with the other members, no, not at all. But perhaps, just perhaps, it makes them feel a teeny, tiny pang of jealousy seeing theirotp partner/friend declaring his attraction to others. Something’s just amiss. It just doesn’t feel too right. I would always imagine a sad, disappointed and worried thought like ‘What about me? What about …’HunHan?’ going through their minds in such situations, I don’t even know.

HunHan do not unnecessarily do fanservice or create substance where there isn’t any. Honestly everything they do is exclusively based on their very own impulses. (This explains why there only exist very little ‘bold’ moments of HunHan fanservice). I think it’s a good thing though.

From this I think we wish we can all safely conclude that HunHan are just genuine friends.

Oh man, I’m not lying when I tell you guys the post could of have been much longer but it is really late and I’m super tired.

 In conclusion, HunHan is one of many beautiful ships in EXO I just really learned to adore. HunHan just make me really happy sighs
